HANNA with Eric Bana and Cate Blanchett *SOLD OUT*

The RSVP list for this screening is FULL. We look forward to seeing all of you on Monday!

We’re partnering with our friends at Focus Features to bring you a special free sneak preview screening of the new film Hanna, directed by Joe Wright (Atonement), starring Eric Bana and Cate Blanchett, and featuring a score by the Chemical Brothers.

This free screening, exclusively for Rooftop Films fans, will be held on Monday, April 4th at 7pm. All you have to do to get tickets is to call 212-539-4094.

The film’s star, Academy Award nominee Saoirse Ronan (also of Atonement), who plays Hanna, will be there in person.

In Hanna, Joe Wright weaves together the elements of a dark fairy tale and an adventure thriller. Raised by her father (Eric Bana), an ex-CIA man, in the wilds of North Finland, 16-year-old Hanna’s upbringing and training have been one and the same, all geared to making her the perfect assassin. The turning point in her adolescence is a sharp one; sent into the world by her father on a mission, Hanna journeys stealthily across Europe while eluding agents dispatched after her by a ruthless intelligence operative with secrets of her own (Academy Award winner Cate Blanchett). As she nears her ultimate target, Hanna faces startling revelations about her existence and unexpected questions about her humanity.
