Our First Winter Benefit

That’s right folks, this year, we’re going all out. Rooftop is putting on our very first Winter Benefit, and we want you to be there.

In partnership with AT&T we’re decking the halls to honor the Rooftop Filmmakers’ Fund grantees in an intimate holiday benefit. Bring some of your cheeriest cheer and help us light the spark for Rooftop’s 2012 Summer Series, our 16th year (Can you believe it? We grew up so fast).

The benefit will feature such emerging indie superstars as Sean Durkin (director of Martha Marcy May Marlene, starring Elizabeth Olsen), Gillian Robespierre (director of Obvious Child, starring Jenny Slate), and dozens of other Rooftop alumni whose careers we’ve helped ignite.

Your contribution at this party will keep us going as the going gets cold and help us prepare for another amazing year of hot outdoor cinema.

There will be delicious food and drink, live music from the mind-blowing Rooftop 2011 electric cello and drum duo Live Footage. (Seriously, listen to their cover of Jay-Z’s Empire State of Mind). Plus a lot of charming, creative characters from New York’s Independent Film World and beyond. Plus, YOU’LL be there. Which is pretty exciting too.
