Catch A Baseball Flick On Staten Island!

Movies and baseball…what a great combination! Rooftop Films is heading to Staten Island to screen some Baseball classics. The Natural, Field of Dreams, and Sandlot will all be screening this summer at Richmond County Bank Ball Park in Staten Island, NY. Join us on the field for free outdoor screenings of the best baseball films you’ve always loved. Grab the whole family after the game and enjoy your two favorite things! Doors open at 7:30PM and the films begin at 8:30PM. Take the ferry over this July and August and celebrate great American sports and fun!

Rooftop Films, NYC & Company, and The Staten Island Yankees are all excited to be bringing together so many great elements of summer and creating the St. George Film Series. The CEO of NYC & Company explains what an attraction these events are, “NYC & Company always looks for new ways to promote all five boroughs, and we are proud to partner with Rooftop Films and the Staten Island Yankees to bring free outdoor movie screenings to Richmond County Bank Ballpark this summer,” said George Fertitta, CEO of NYC & Company. “Staten Island draws millions of visitors each year to its parks, museums, restaurants and more. We encourage New Yorkers to take advantage of this opportunity and to also explore the shopping and dining in St. George, New Brighton and Tompkinsville as part of the experience.”

Movie nights provide free entertainment and a spectacular view of New York City right here on Staten Island,” said Jane Rogers, Preseident and General Manager of the Staten Island Yankees.
