Get to know your neighbors, follow a few simple rules, and have fun! On My Block wants film to be the ice breaker and gateway into finding your community. Rooftop Films is excited to let you know about this great filmmaking contest happening between August 1st and October 31st. On My Block shares a lot of the same goals and interests as Rooftop: reaching out to all five boroughs, helping emerging artists, and bringing together your community. On My Block Neighborhood Filmmaking has kicked off its first year and welcome all types of filmmakers to knock on your neighbors doors and film something! So get on your block, make a friend and a film.
