Alumni Films Premiering in Theaters this Month!

We proudly announce three Summer Series alumni films premiering this month! If you missed them on the roof last summer, don’t miss out again…

An Honest Liar, directed and produced by Justin Weinstein and Tyler Measom, is a documentary on James “The Amazing” Randi. Randi self-identifies as a liar, cheat and charlatan, but mostly importantly, an entertainer. This films follows his story of exposing fakes and frauds who used his same “magic” techniques claiming to have religious healing or psychic powers,taking money from innocent people. Kumiko the Treasure Hunter, directed by The Zellner Bros and starring Academy Award nominated actress Rinko Kikuchi, a drama following a woman who travels from Japan to Minnesota seeking a treasure she believes is real after seeing it in VHS copy of the movie Fargo. She’s Lost Control, directed by Anja Marquardt, starring Brooke Bloom and Marc Menchaca, takes the viewers through the world of the intimacy of a sexual surrogate helping a patient with severe physical intimacy problems.
