Their rip-roaring odyssey leads them through various subcultures of Los Angeles, including an Armenian family dealing with their own repercussions of infidelity. [33 mins] On segment 2 the guest is filmmaker/distributor Jeff Lipsky who discusses his company Adopt Films as well as his new film Mad Women. The film stars Lipsky regular Reed Birney (House of Cards) and is about a mother (Christina Starbuck) of 3 daughters (one died at the age of three) who commits a crime of conscience and becomes radicalized in prison; she turns into an idealist run amok, determined to change her little corner of the world for the better. Her middle daughter (Kelsey Lynn Stokes), with a physician for a father (Birney), an older sister who joins Doctors Without Borders, and a baby sister who dies, is fanatically trying to find a place for herself in this family of overachievers.
