The co-directors of the new documentary Welcome to Leith, Christopher Walker and Michael Beach Nichols are the guests in our first segment. The film, distributed by First Run Features, concerns a small North Dakota town which suddenly becomes the potential home for a group of white supremacists led by Craig Cobb. The film opens in NYC on Wednesday, September 9 at the IFC Center. Thanks to First Run Features for sponsoring this special episode.

Firelight Media co-founder Stanley Nelson, director of the new documentary The Blank Panthers: Vanguard of the Revolution, is the guest. His film opens at the Film Forum in NYC on 9/2, then rolls out to 2o cities around the country thereafter. Last up, director Oren Moverman (Rampart) discusses his new film starring Richard Gere, Time Out of Mind. Here, playing against type, portrays a homeless man with mental illness. Also in supporting roles are Ben Vereen and Kyra Sedgwick. The film is being distributed by IFC Films and opens in New York City on 9/9.
