A summer intern says farewell to Rooftop.
Our friends at Independent Filmmaker Project (IFP) are looking for new interns and volunteers to work with their programming department this fall!
Rooftop Films does more than show movies—they’re building a community. To do that, we must engage and inspire by giving them an experience they’ve never had before. To make something that matters, Rooftop events must be unique, engaging and memorable; and Rooftop could not do that without the generous support of Industry City.
We are now accepting applications for technicians – become a part of the 2014 Summer Series!
Show your support & help Rooftop get funding from the community! In return, we’ll continue working with schools, churches and other community organizations to help them create spectacular events of their own.
The 4th annual Northside DIY Film competition is underway! Submit your films for a chance to win 10,000 and have it screened at the Northside Festival! This year’s jury includes Matthew Grady (founder of Factory 25) and Kentucker Audley (Ain’t Them Bodies Saints, Sun Don’t Shine, and NoBudge Films).
“I know you like rooves,” I said, in my first email inviting someone to a Rooftop screening.
The “stoner dramedy” and feature debut from Rooftop Film Fund Grantee Shaka King will begin its theatrical run at Film Forum on September 18th, with Shaka King in person at select screenings!
