Filmmakers – it’s time to apply for IFP’s Independent Film Week!

The 2014 deadline for the Northside DIY Film Competition has been extended! Submit your film by Monday, March 17th.

The Independent Filmmaker Project is accepting applications for its Independent Filmmaker Labs. Ten documentary features and ten narrative features will be selected. Films must be low-budget (<$1million) and currently in post-production.

Cas is an independent filmmaker and internet stuff-maker. He has been screening films with Rooftop since our inaugural year in 1997, and was one of three Rooftop alums we placed in the IFP Project Forum. He blogged this pitch about his experience.

Steve Collins has perhaps shown more films at Rooftop than any other filmmaker. He is one of three filmmakers Rooftop placed at the IFP Project Forum, and he’ll be blogging for us this week.
