My Favorite Rooftop Film: La Bocca Del Lupo
I truly have loved every Rooftop Film we’ve picked this summer. They’re always characterized by one thing, showcasing how differently people live, and how differently they can look at life. But if asked to choose the one film that I’ll most remember and take away with me, it has to be La Bocca del Lupo, a beautiful documentary about love and memory in the enigmatic seaport city of Genoa.

Rooftop Films brings the power of poetry to the streets of New York with three free events based around this award winning documentary about lives and language on the edge. Screenings in East Harlem, Chelsea and the South Bronx will be a celebration of the power of writing, with a poetry workshop for teenagers, a performance slam, and a screening of the award-winning documentary To Be Heard.
