Montage will feature classic film scenes shot in Grand Central throughout history.

11:30 AM-12:30 PM: Q&A WITH THE GRAND CENTRAL FILM COORDINATOR
While you watch the Grand Central film montage, Meredith Conti from Metro-North Railroad will be available in the alcove to answer questions about past, present, and future Grand Central film projects!

12:30 PM-1:00 PM: GRAND CENTRAL FILM HISTORY TALK
Architect James Sanders—co-writer with Ric Burns of the acclaimed eight-part PBS series New York: A Documentary Film, and author of the landmark book, Celluloid Skyline—will present a special illustrated talk on Grand Central in the movies. Featuring dozens of rare and unusual images from his collection, the presentation will trace the extraordinary role the Terminal has played in American film history. Followed by Q & A.

6:00 PM–10:00 PM: TICKETED SCREENING OF ALFRED HITCHCOCK’S NORTH BY NORTHWEST [RSVPS AND WAITLIST ARE SOLD OUT]
Introduced by Museum of the Moving Image Chief Curator David Schwartz, watch North by Northwest featuring Cary Grant’s classic Grand Central getaway scene with Grand Central as your backdrop! RSVP is required.

This is an all-day event.

No outside food or drink is permitted, but there will be food and drinks available for sale from Grand Central merchants:

7:00 AM-9:30 AM: Café Grumpy, Irving Farm, Oren’s Daily Roast
11:30 AM-2:30 PM: Great Northern Food Hall, Li-Lac Chocolates, Shake Shack, Tri Tip Grill, Wok Chi, and Zaro’s Family Bakery.
6:00 PM-8:00 PM (ticketed screening): Beer Table to Go, The Campbell, Great Northern Food Hall, Li-Lac Chocolates, Shake Shack, and Zaro’s Family Bakery.

We encourage that you only bring what you need to this event, as bags may be subject to search by the MTA Police.
