AUTOMOTIVE HIGH SCHOOL
Williamsburg, Brooklyn: Click for Directions
Automotive High School (AHS), is located at 50 Bedford Avenue, in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, directly across the street from McCarren Park. We did 16 shows on AHS's lush lawn in 2005 and are proud to be back. The lawn is a beautfiul space and we encourage you to bring picnics!
AHS is a chronically under-funded NYC public school in which 100% of the student body is non-white. AHS was previously one of the city's 12 failing schools but has made it off that list. This past winter, Rooftop FIlms came to the school, bringing films and filmmakers, and engaged the students in wonderful discussions about film during our four master classes.
THE OLD AMERICAN CAN FACTORY & XO PROJECTS

On the rooftop of one of the buildings in the thriving artistic community of The Old American Can Factory (OACF), Rooftop Films will host six shows on Saturday nights in June and July. For larger crowds, we will simultaneously screen on the roof and in the large courtyard below.
Rooftop Films' office is located at OACF. Located just a block away from the Gowanus Canal, OACF straddles two worlds, one the gentrifying historic brownstone neighborhoods of Park Slope and Carroll Gardens and the other the decaying industrial areas of the Canal. OACF is a complex of six factory buildings built between 1865 and 1890 and is now home to the studios and workshops of 120 manufacturers and artists.
