Kickstarter is a fantastic new website that helps fund and follow creativity. Hundreds of artists, including many filmmakers whose work has appeared at Rooftop, are raising vital funds through this collaborative medium. Recent successes include Wicked Delicate’s Truck Farm and Dustin Guy Defa’s Bad Fever.
Kickstarter works much like Rooftop’s own Filmmakers’ Fund, which uses small amounts of money from our large community to create new projects, and on July 9, Rooftop will be hosting a special event with Kickstarter.
