Guests include one of Kickstarter‘s film leads George Schmalz who discusses their new initiative, The Archive Projects, which seeks to bring together myriad film restoration & preservation projects currently going on. This is the first in a series of conversations with different people from the industry on the subject.

Filmmaker of the new documentary Approaching the Elephant, Amanda Rose Wilder & her subject, Alex Khost, founder of the Teddy McArdle Free School in NJ, all classes are voluntary and rules are determined by vote — adults and children have an equal say. The film has its theatrical engagement at the Made in NY Media Center starting Friday, February 20th, as part of IFP’s Screen Forward series.

Lastly, filmmakers Brandon Colvin & Tony Oswald on their new film, Sabbatical, starring Filmwax Radio friends Robert Longstreet, Tom Ryan, Frank Mosley and Kentucker Audley. The film is currently available for pre-order on Vimeo on Demand and available for viewing on February 17th.
